It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Dale Welborn Allen of Olin, North Carolina, who passed away on January 4, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Lawrence Welborn Sr.; and her husband Norris Allen. She is survived by: her children, Randall Shumaker (Tina) and Merie Swink (Preston) of Olin. She is also survived by four brothers, two sisters, four grandchildren, three step grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
