He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyt Huie and Sarah Crater Huie; and his siblings, Gale, Pete Huie and Sue Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Emily Reid; his children, Bonnie Mitchell, Pam Campbell (Gerald), Phil Huie (Janet Williams) and Dora Machat (Bill); his granddaughters, Eliza Kiser (Jason), Leah Painter (Mike) and Sarah Williams (Jonathan); his great grandchildren, Bailey, Laurette, Adisyn, Emily and Kirby; his sisters, Luecree Nicholson and Charlotte Redmond; his sister-in-law Sylvia Pipkin (Dennis); and his close friend Elaine Sessoms. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Attendees are asked to wear a mask to the service and observe social distancing for the safety of all in attendance.
