He was predeceased by: his parents, Reece King Williams and Beulah Wall Williams; his son Robb; and his brothers, Joe and Alan Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Steinbruegge of Atlanta; his daughter Christy W. Withgott (Jeremy); his granddaughter Quinn; his sisters, Rena Turner (Donald) and Ellen Sprinkle (JD); his siblings-in-law, Barbara Williams, Bob Steinbruegge (Kathy) and Chuck Steinbruegge (Urszula); and his niece Nancy Keith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
