She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Spurgeon and Edna Sloan Brown; her son-in-law John M. Wagoner, Jr.; and her siblings, Boyce Brown, Oleta Holland, Thelma Dearman, Lucile Gaither, Audrey Waters, Helen Galliher and Hilda Brown.
She is survived by: her husband Calvin G. York; her children, Karen York Wagoner of Olin and Byron Brown York (Valerie) of Olin; her granddaughters, Anna M. Wagoner, Kara S. Wagoner and Payton York Cockerham (Taylor); her children, Addison L. York and Macie C. York; her great grandchild Jaxon Cockerham; her brother Charles S. Brown (Joy) of Mt. Olive, NC; and her sister-in-law Mary Helen Brown of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their spouses and children.
