With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brenda Kay Sappington (Olin, North Carolina), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on May 14, 2020 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Wade Shaver and Ethel Johnson Shaver. She is survived by: her husband Richard "Rich" Sappington; her children, Richard "Rick" Wade Sappington of Harmony, NC and Susan Cochran of Olin, NC; and her grandchildren, Jessica Sappington, Emilie West, Jonathan Cochran, Zachary Sappington and Jacob Cochran.
