He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin A. Gilliland and Willane Hart Gilliland. He is survived by: his children, Summer Gilliland and Erik Gilliland; and his siblings, Darlene Burleson (Clinton) and Steve Gilliland. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
