Vernon Stevens Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 2, 2020, at the age of 79, Vernon Stevens (Old Fort, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stevens and Ruby Melton Stevens; his grandson Lucas Smith; and his brothers, Calvin Stevens, Arnold Stevens, Sam Freeman and Bill Stevens.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Stevens; his children, Vernon Divese Stevens (Jill) and Treva Stevens Covert (Scott); his siblings, Shirley Laws (late David Laws), Verdie Propst (Bill), Cindy Johnson (Tommy), Rita Barnett, Norman Stevens (Joyce) and Jimmy Stevens (Toni); and his sister-in-law Judy Stevens. He is also survived by four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
