He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Carter and Hattie Warren Carter; and his brother Phillip Jackson Carter. He is survived by: his wife Revonda Carter; and his children, Tracy Richardson (Dennis Watts), Greg Carter, Teresa Dale (Greg) and Samantha Wyatt (Zeb).
