With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Oletta McEntire (Old Fort, North Carolina), born in Marion, North Carolina, who passed away on March 30, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Ray Greene; her former husband Rev. William E. Burks; and her daughter Dianne Thompson (Tommy). She is survived by: her mother Lona Plemmons Greene; her husband E. B.; her children, John Daniel Burks (Randi) of Henderson, TN, Denise Borders (Shane) of Swannanoa, NC and Deloris Tims (Dennis) of Morristown, TN; her stepchildren, Nicolas McEntire (Angie) of Old Fort, NC and Victoria Hensley (Scott) of Marion; and her brothers, Willie Greene (Myra) of Pfafftown, NC, Larry Greene (Barbara) of Concord, NC and Alan Greene (Penny) of Black Mountain, NC. She is also survived by ten Grandchildren, four step grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one step great grandchild.
