It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jane Burgin (Old Fort, North Carolina), born in Masontown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 26, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Jones "Eddie" Burgin III; her son Edward Jones Burgin IV; her grandson Jason Foster; and her siblings, Bill Mackey, Pat Mackey, Tootie Shuford and Frances Deutsch.
She is survived by: her children, Sarah Hagood (Michael) of Elizabeth City, Ronald Greenlee Burgin of Marion and William Edward Burgin (Linda Doyle Burgin) of Fletcher; her grandchildren, Eric Foster (Anne) of Avery County, Craig Burgin (Erin) of Henderson County and Dr. Amanda Burgin of Durham; and her great grandchildren, Blake Foster, Gavin, Mason and Abby Burgin.
