We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2022, at the age of 76, Linda Jane Parton (Old Fort, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father William Ralph Anderson, Sr.; her husband Bruce Jackson Parton, Sr.; and her brothers, William Ralph Anderson, Jr. and Wayne Anderson. She is survived by: her children, Rose Moore (Gerald) of Lake Lure, Jean Atkins (Andy) of Lake Lure, Bruce Parton of Lake Lure, Tina White (Joseph) of Black Mountain and Mary Kyne (Ozzie) of Black Mountain. She is also survived by grandchildren; twenty-five precious great-grandchildren; and two cherished great-great grandchildren.
