With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph W. Harris of Old Fort, North Carolina, who passed away on October 16, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harris and Tercie Dalton Harris. He is survived by: his wife Lillian; his children, Sharon Dennie, Michael, Janice Harris, Joan and Frank Hughes; and his sister Jane Whitesides. He is also survived by five grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren.
