It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry R. Johnson Sr. (Old Fort, North Carolina), who passed away on February 24, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Johnson and Betty Smith Johnson; and his brother Tony Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Suttles Johnson; his children, Jerry Johnson, Jr. (Debbie), Scotty Johnson, Sheila McFarlin (Will) and Melissa Johnson; his brother Randy Johnson; his niece Heather Lanning (Ray); and his pet Clovis. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in Jerry's memory are asked to consider the Old Fort Public Library, 65 E. Mitchell St, Old Fort, NC 28762 or a favorite charity of your choice.
