He was predeceased by: his father Jeffrey Allen Ricketts. He is survived by: his mother Diane "Dee" Edwards Rippy; his stepfather Frank "Sam" Rippy of Old Fort; his grandmother Lorraine Edwards of Black Mountain; and his siblings, Tyler Ricketts (Jordan) of Jackson, TN, Colby Ricketts of Marion, Dakota Owenby (Justin) of Old Fort and Mandy Davis (David) of Old Fort. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
