With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hazel Janell Pittman Hensley of Old Fort, North Carolina, who passed away on August 24, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Rickey Hensley; her parents, Floyd Lee Pittman and Josie Talma Wheeler Pittman; and her siblings, Margaret Elliott, Charles Pittman, Cecil Pittman and Frances Parker.
She is survived by: her daughter Debra Fox; her grandchildren, Jacob Hensley, Samantha Haney (Dustan), Joshua Pass (Annah), Jamie Mills (Sam), Haleigh Mills, Sierra Hensley and Travis Fox; her great grandchildren, Aaron Haney, Scarlett Haney, Ruth Haney, Isla Pass, Scotty Waters and Charlie Waters; her sister Sylvia Vess; her daughter-in-law Tonia Hampton; and her husband Guy Hensley. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
