Gaynell Queen Garner Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 4, 2023, Gaynell Queen Garner of Old Fort, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Queen and Pearl McGee Queen; and her husband Charles Garner (Chuck). She is survived by: her siblings, Charles Queen, Earl Queen, Fern Ledbetter and Evelyn Esworthy; her son John Wyatt (Denita); her grandson Bradley Wyatt (Whitney); her great grandchild Brinley; and her siblings, Ruth Porterfield (Tom), Carolyn (Sue), Dalke (Tom), Bill Queen (Lynn) and Janie Green (Rick).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her honor to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital, an organization that Gaye felt strongly.
