She was predeceased by: her parents, George Washington McPeters and Jessie "Mae" Greene McPeters; her husband William Burnette; and her siblings, Tommy McPeters and Judy Lawes.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Burnette of Old Fort, Richard Burnette (Brenda) of Canton, Allen Burnette (Tonya Penix) of Asheville, Keith Burnette of Old Fort and Jamie Burnette of Old Fort; her brothers, G. Michael McPeters of Marion, Dennis R. McPeters of Old Fort and David L. McPeters (Diana) of Marion; her grandchildren, Erik, Jordan, Noah, Abram, Anniston, Ciara, Sophia and Emari; her great grandchildren, Emma and Dallas; and her close friend Verna Stockton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and beloved cousins.
