We are sad to announce that on March 30, 2020, at the age of 98, Dorothy Larsen (Old Fort, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Bannister and Mariette Pritchard "Etta" Bannister; her husband Rev. Neils H. Larsen; and her sister Genolian Bannister. She is survived by: her nephews, Robert and John Tuber of New York; her niece Sandra Kelly of Georgia; and her cousin Tillie Fortag (Edward) of Old Fort.

Memorials may be made to the "You're Special" fund through CarePartners Hospice McDowell at 575 Airport Road, Marion, NC 28752.
