It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brittney Bumgardner (Old Fort, North Carolina), born in Marietta, Georgia, who passed away on May 14, 2018, at the age of 31, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her daughters, Summer Sprouse of Forest City, NC and Sarah Sprouse of Forest City, NC; her parents, Debra Banner (Donnie Whitson) of Old Fort, NC and Chuck Burden (Lisa) of Nebo; her grandparents, Sue Moffitt (Alan) of Old Fort, NC, Roy Banner of Lincolnton, NC and Linda Burden of Chester, SC; her siblings, Brandon Burden of Marion, NC and Ashley Burden of Morganton, NC; her stepsisters, Valerie Whitson of Morganton, NC and Katlyn Huntsinger of Nebo, NC; her nieces and nephews, Emma Hollifield, Ayden Hollifield, Skylar Burden and Alexis Burden; and also, Kelly Berney of Marion, NC and Tom Berg of Morganton, NC. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
