She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Edward Allison and Frankie Grindstaff Allison; her brothers, Ray Dean Allison and Paul Edward Allison, Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Johnsie Bartlett (Bob), Ailene Martin (Harold) and Dan Gibbs.
She is survived by: her husband Frank Monroe Gibbs; her son Joshua Gibbs (Margaret) of Asheville; her granddaughters, Kathleen and Caroline; and her sisters-in-law, Wilma Allison of Wake County, NC and Sue Gibbs of Old Fort. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Ava will be greatly missed, not only for her contributions to the business and community but for the love and friendship she generously shared.
