With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Edward Simpson in Ocracoke, North Carolina, born in Saint Petersburg, Florida, who passed away on November 15, 2024 at the age of 64. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Edward Simpson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Patsy Williams and Lawrence Simpson. He is survived by: his son Kyle Simpson; his daughter-in-law Gina; his granddaughter Anslee Osbourne; his daughter Laura Simpson; his former wife Jeanette Simpson; his nieces and nephews, Bonnie Burrus, Sarah Hovis, Amanda Gamache, Christopher Burrus, Daniel Gamache, Eric Simpson and Christopher Simpson; and his brother Lawrence Simpson. He is also survived by numerous family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ocracoke United Methodist Church (71 School Rd, Ocracoke, NC 27960). A reception will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
