He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mack Ward and Lottie Mae Ward; his wife Etha Yvonne Ludlum Ward; his daughter Tammy Yvonne Ward; and his brothers, Billy Wayne Ward and Winfred Jay Ward.
He is survived by: his son Tony Ward (Shonda) of Ash, NC; his siblings, Mack Ward (Cindy) of Currie, NC and Betty Jean Lewis (Gary) of Shallotte, NC; his grandchildren, Makayla Ree Roberts (Ian) and Curtis Monroe Ward (Raven) of Ash, NC; and his great grandchild Ryan Curtis Ward.
