He is survived by: his spouse Jonita Bires (Dutt); his sons, Corey Bires (Anna) and Casey Bires (Bobbi); his grandchildren, Savannah, Mason and Brielle; his brother Larry Bires (Kim Wissler); and his in-laws, Jan, Candy Dutt, Joan and Jay Hess.
