It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Weisner King (Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina), born in Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on February 12, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Weisner and Douschka Weisner; her son William L. King, III; and her brother Howard Weisner. She is survived by: her husband Luke King of Sunset Beach, NC; her daughter Cindy Ward; her granddaughter Angie Starnes (Joel); and her extended family, Pam K. Blalock (Danney) of Durham, NC, Dale King (Vicky) of Timberlake, NC, Linda K. Poole, Nancy Weisner and Steve Weisner.

In lieu of flowers, she requests that donations be made to Calabash Covenant Presbyterian Church, 8820 Old Georgetown Rd., Sunset Beach, NC 28468.
