He is survived by: his mother Helen Geiger Kershner; his wife Pam Goodman Kershner; his son Bryan Kershner (Kelsey) of Matthews; his grandchildren, Maizy Kershner and Miles; his sister Michele Truax (Drew) of Richburg, SC; his nephew Joshua Truax; his nieces, Ashley Truax and Shania Truax; and his close friends, Louie and Hope.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Samaritan's Purse or Brunswick County Humane Society.
