Leslie Lee Givens Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leslie Lee Givens of Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina, born in Rome, Georgia, who passed away on May 13, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Jenny Cantrell Givens of Tony's Ice Cream; his parents, C. L. Givens and Mary Elizabeth Bates Givens; and his siblings, Margaret Lanning and Bobby Givens.
He is survived by: his children, Leslie Lee Givens, II, Jennifer Givens McKee and Suzanne Givens Carney (Bob Carney) of Concord, NC; his grandchildren, Shelby Lynne McKee, Danielle Suzanne McKee, Matthew Lee McKee, Sarah Cantrell Carney and Mary Katherine Carney; and his sisters, Betty Ward (Bill Ward) of Columbia, SC and Mary White (Carroll White) of Mount Holly, NC. He is also survived by father his three surviving children.
In lieu of flowers, the children and grandchildren request donations be made in Les Givens' name to the Leukemia Research Foundation for Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
