He was predeceased by: his parents, John Scharenbrock and Elizabeth Clair Scharenbrock; and his brother John Scharenbrock. He is survived by: his wife Joan Granniss Scharenbrock; his daughters, Amy and Judith "Judy" Mount (Doug) of Longmont, CO; his siblings-in-law, Maude Davis of Carolina Shores, NC and John Bryant (Suzy) of Shallotte, NC; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth and Alexa. He is also survived by four nieces.
