Hugh Bennett Hennessee Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hugh Bennett Hennessee of Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 17, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Hennessee and Nell Hunt Hennessee; his wife Geraldine "Gerry" Hennessee; his great grandchild Rylee Hinkle; his son-in-law George Drakulic; and his siblings, Dewey Hennessee (Susie), Margaret Vincent (Robert "Bob") and Beatrice "Bea" McFarland (Guy).

He is survived by: his children, Karen Drakulic, Michael Hennessee and Lorie Burns (Doug) of Sunset Beach, NC; his grandchildren, Jonathan Hinkle (Wendy), Spencer Burns (Megan) and Griffin Burns (Brittney Kuntz); and his great grandchildren, Savannah Hinkle, Kaiden Hinkle, Kiera Ogea, Lily Burns and Rory Burns.
