She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Owen and Lucille Owen; her brother Bill Owen; her sister-in-law Nezbeth Fisher; her nephew Walter Fisher; her siblings-in-law, Jacob Bertschi and Maxine Lott Bertschi; her niece Sherry Bertschi Bauer; her nephew Michael Owen; and her son C. Owen Bertschi.
She is survived by: her husband Clinton Maxwell Bertschi; her children, James Marion Bertschi of Advance and Linda Bertschi Bolling; her sister Inez Hatcher (Joe Mack) of Fayetteville; her daughter-in-law Sheila Bertschi; her grandchildren, Anthony Owen Bertschi (Kirsten) of High Point, Jeremy Paul Bertschi (Eron) of Winston Salem, April Bertschi Gibson (Michael) of Winston Salem and Rikki Lee Bertschi (David) of Advance; and her great grandchildren, Landon Bertschi, Harrison Bertschi, Carter Bertschi, Kate Bertschi, Gracyn Bertschi, Emma Bertschi and Tyler Gibson.
