We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2021, at the age of 82, Ethel Mae Midgette of Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina, born in Brunswick, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Tharpe and Ettie Rabon Tharpe; and her siblings, Lucian Tharpe, Alvin Tharpe, Lena Prince, Carrie Jackson, Mae Hudson and Ivadell Todd.

She is survived by: her son Larry D. Tharpe; her close friend Jenine Coffield of Ash, NC; her brother Layton Tharpe of Ash, NC; and her granddaughter Tierra Walton.
