It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Floyd of Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina, who passed away on August 8, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Floyd and Kathy Milliken Floyd; his wife Kathleen Floyd; and his son Dougie Floyd. He is survived by: his daughters, Kay Milliken (Bobby Faircloth) of Shallotte and Lisa Gore (Jimmy Allen); his siblings, Billy Floyd (Carolyn) of Charleston, SC, Roger Floyd (Susie) of Supply, NC, Larry "Spud" Floyd of Morehead City, NC, Mary Ann Lambert (Vernon) of Concord, NC and Vera Mae Gray (James) of Concord, NC; his grandchildren, Cagney, Savannah, Ryan, Caroline and Somer; and his great grandchildren, Mason, Leighton, Brayden, Sadie and Jett.
