She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Mayo Kuhnemann of Shallotte, NC, Phillip Mayo of Siler City, NC and Frederick Mayo; her grandchildren, Sonja Mayo, Phillip Mayo, Jr. and Jennifer Kuhnemann; and her great grandchildren, Dalton Perry VanSteen (Shannon), Thomas Clay VanSteen and Lilly Madison Mayo.
