He is survived by: his spouse Marion Darlington Stiles; his children, Susan (Michael Keener), Dr. Edward (Stephanie Hemphill), Janet (Ron Ambrose) and Thomas (Harriet Hemphill); his grandchildren, Jay, Carl, Ellen, Anna, Marc, Karla, Joe, Taylor and Jackson; his great grandchildren, Ashley, Jeremy, Madison, Kaitlyn, Bradley, Daniel, Will, Ellis, Carlisle, Elizabeth, Andrew, Millie and Maeve; and his sister Judy Strong of Pennsylvania.
