It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue Harrell Stogner of Oakboro, North Carolina, who passed away on June 1, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vance Hathcock and Pauline Drye Hathcock; her husband Wade H. Stogner, Jr.; her sister Jeannette Edwards; her brothers-in-law, Edsel Edwards, Doug Branch and Joe Lowder; and her niece Amy Boger.
She is survived by: her sons, Chris Stogner (Angie) of Oakboro, NC and Jason Stogner (Stacy) of Oakboro, NC; her grandchildren, Meg Mason, Vance Stogner (Carson) and Jacob Stogner; her great grandchildren, Oaklyn Mason, Easton Stogner and Delaney Stogner; and her sisters, Joan Branch, Joy Harris (Junior) and Rita Lowder Sue.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly and the Uwharrie or Palliative Care of Union County.
