It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Lee Alligood of Oakboro, North Carolina, who passed away on April 17, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Alligood and Marjorie "Margie" Pritchard Alligood. He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Alligood Russell (Justin) of Denver, NC; his granddaughter Valerie Russell; his brother Mike Alligood (Libby) of Lawrenceville, GA; his nieces, Olivia and Emily; and his nephew Charlie.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care (1835 Badin Rd, Albemarle, NC 28001).
The family requests that memorials be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
