With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Edwards of Oakboro, North Carolina, who passed away on September 16, 2021 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Edwards to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theron Roosevelt Whitley and Minnie June Taylor Whitley. She is survived by: her children, Rickey Edwards, Jeannene Gilbert (Chris), Greg Edwards, Kevin Edwards and Marsha Hatley (Wes); her grandchildren, Justin Gilbert (Heather), Ryan Gilbert and Autumn Hatley; her great grandchildren, Tenley Gilbert and Ellena Gilbert; and her aunt Jane Honeycutt.
