It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Harold Carpenter of Oakboro, North Carolina, who passed away on August 18, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Carpenter and Maggie Little Carpenter Huneycutt. He is survived by: his siblings, Johnny Carpenter (Barbara) of Oakboro, Barbara Ann Tucker (Mark) of Norwood and Peggy Morgan (L. D.) of Stanfield; and his grandchildren, Haley Carpenter of Charlotte, Cody Plyler of Oakboro and Samuel Harold Carpenter of Oakboro.
