It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Calvin Gaddy of Oakboro, North Carolina, who passed away on December 3, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Prentice Gaddy and Emma Tucker Gaddy; and his brothers, James Gilford Gaddy and William Cecil Gaddy. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Broome Gaddy; his daughter Beth Parker (Anthony) of Oakboro; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Matthew and Madison Parker; his nephews, Mark Bennett, Greg Traywick, Kent Traywick and Tim Traywick; his sister-in-law Bobbie Stegall (Ray); and his friend Kathy Smith (Robert).
