She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie Mae Furr Taylor and Jonah Calvin Taylor, Sr.; her husband John Henry Poplin; her son Ricky Lane Poplin; and her siblings, J. C. Taylor, Della Petrea, Doris Drye and Geneva Mullis.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Cassie Poplin Little (Phillip) of Fairview, Charli Poplin Moore (John Mark) of New Salem and William Ivey, III of New Salem; and her daughter-in-law Kara Ivey (Mark) of New Salem. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
