He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Sherman and Maggie McManus Holly. He is survived by: his wife Gaynelle Foreman Holly; his sister Ann Almond; his children, Amanda Horton (Kent) of Norwood and Kevin Holly of Colorado; and his grandchildren, Riley Horton and Ashley Horton.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Homes (120 College St, Norwood, NC 28128). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Silver Springs Baptist Church (16072 NC-138, Norwood, NC 28128). A burial was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Oakboro Cemetery (1373 N Main St, Oakboro, NC 28129).
