Melvin Taylor Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2022, at the age of 89, Melvin Taylor of Oakboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Melvin Taylor Sr. and Elizabeth "Bessie" Thomas Taylor; his wife Ann Randall Taylor; and his sister Louise Taylor Helms. He is survived by: his children, David Melvin Taylor (Kathy) and Susan Taylor Burgess (Steve); his sister Elizabeth "Libby" Nance; and his grandsons, Andrew Burgess (Kimberly), Brian Burgess and Cooper Burgess. He is also survived by Seven great-grandchildren, one niece and one nephew.
