She is survived by: her children, Lisa Brooks of Oakboro and Billy Brooks of Oakboro; her pet George; her siblings, Kathryn Carpenter (Larry) of Oakboro, Marilyn Nance Eudy of Oakboro, Thomas "Buddy" Hoyle Nance, Jr. (late Becky) of Locust, Rayvon Nance (Nancy) of Albemarle and Dwayne Nance (Monica) of Oakboro; and her sister-in-law Theresa Nance of Locust. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
