She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Theodore Cranford and Neppie Thompson Cranford; and her husband William Frank Smith. She is survived by: her sons, Chris Smith of Oakboro, Todd Smith (Amanda) of Albemarle and Eric Smith of Oakboro; and her siblings, Tommy Cranford of Sumter, SC and Hilda Watts of Georgia. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
