It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Wayne Furr Sr. of Oakboro, North Carolina, who passed away on November 9, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Wilson Furr and Evelyn Fink Furr; and his siblings, Shirley Eudy, Kenneth Furr, Tommy Furr and Curtis Furr.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Kinley Furr; his children, Hope Furr Cox (Rob) of Wilmington, NC, Kelly Furr Kerley (Tim) of Oakboro, NC and Larry Wayne Furr, Jr. of Rockwell, NC; his grandchildren, Jessica Bodick (AJ) of Kannapolis, Andrew Neely (Tiffany) of Turbeville, SC, Emily Kerley of Oakboro and Dylan Furr of Oakboro; his great grandchildren, Evelyn Neely and Xander Bodick; and his siblings, Geraldine Fink of Mt. Pleasant, NC, Carolyn Torrence of Stanfield, NC and Ronald Furr of Oakboro, NC..
