It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Richard Efird of Oakboro, North Carolina, who passed away on January 27, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry Efird and Lessie Dick Efird; his son Todd Richard Efird; and his brothers, James Kenneth Efird and Darrell Clinton Efird.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Clark Efird of Oakboro, NC; his daughter Wendi Efird Mock (Butch) of Huntersville, NC; his grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth Mock and Darin Richard Mock; and his brother Donald Gene Efird (Janice) of Albemarle, NC..

In lieu of flowers, please donate to Larry's memorial fund, which will go to Community Homecare and Hospice of Troy and Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
