She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas and Audrey Thomas; and her husband David Springer. She is survived by: her children, Lloyd Springer of Oakboro, Wayne Springer of Oakboro, Tony Springer (Kristi) of Oakboro, Phillip Springer (Amy) of Oakboro, Jamie Register of Oakboro, Joyce Owens (T. J.) of Asheboro, NC and Jodie Mullis (Brandon) of Locust; and her siblings, Alice Hatley, Marlene Thomas, Betty Morton, Jerry and Dale Thomas. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.
