With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe E. Huneycutt of Oakboro, North Carolina, who passed away on August 8, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Joe Huneycutt and Helen Mae Eudy Huneycutt. He is survived by: his wife Betty Little Huneycutt; his sons, Donald Joe Huneycutt (Delinda) and Christopher Newsome Huneycutt; his grandchildren, Halee Clontz (Richard) and Wesley Huneycutt (Kayla); his great grandchildren, Emma, Jamie, Addie, Josiah Huneycutt and Rheliana Clontz; and his siblings, Bobby C. Huneycutt (Nancy) and Yugonda Underwood (Dennis). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be given to the Building Fund of First Baptist Church of Oakboro, PO Box 10, Oakboro, NC 28129 or the Building Fund of St. Stephens Wesleyan Church, 7601 Brusharbor Road, Concord NC 28025.
