He was predeceased by: his father Danny Paul Luther. He is survived by: his mother Kathy Howard of Polkton; his brother Jeremy Luther (Carin) of Albemarle; his stepmother Denise Luther; his stepbrothers, Bryan Whitley and Gregg Whitley (Anita); his stepchildren, Michael Carter (Christen), Tyler Carter and Samantha Helms; his grandparents, Shirley and Roy Burris; and his nephew Daniel Luther. He is also survived by co-workers and friends.
