She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lee Lingerfelt and Carrie Mae Rogers Lingerfelt; her sons, Chris Lingerfelt and Bryan Lingerfelt; and her siblings, Bernice Morton, Evelyn Harris, Joann Snipes, Jane Crump, James Lingerfelt, David Lingerfelt and Wayne Lingerfelt.
She is survived by: her sisters, Kay Lingerfelt Carpenter of Mt. Gilead, Janice Elaine Richardson of Greensboro and Marie Williams of Albemarle; her nephew Rodger Morton of Oakboro; and her close friend Shirley Efird of Stanfield.
