He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Elvin Hinson and Willene Hinson. He is survived by: his wife Donna Hinson; his sons, Brandon Hinson (Kailey), Bradley Hinson (Savannah) and Jeffrey Hatley (Emily); his granddaughters, Sophia and Autumn Hinson; and his great grandchildren, Braylen, Lane Furr and Raeleigh Hatley.

Donations may be made in Jeff's name to Red Cross Baptist Church of Oakboro.
